Optimize your online listing

  1. Title
  2. Item Specifics

Then optimize the mobile listing

According to eBay, more than half of all transactions on their site are first viewed on the eBay mobile application or on their mobile website. It’s essential for sellers to follow eBay’s mobile seller guidelines to ensure customers can view your listing with ease on their smartphone. Top tips include:

  • Use legible fonts for mobile
  • Scale your items and descriptions for vertical scrolling only
  • Use eBay’s photo uploader to ensure your images appear correctly

If you have an eBay store, you’re probably already pushing ads out to your customers via social media channels. If not, stop reading and get to posting now!

But other sellers looking to push a product at the last minute could benefit by paying to promote their listing. This only works on fixed-price items, but it’s a great way to get the word out on a hot product quickly. Just remember your listing must follow eBay’s listing guidelines with precision.
